About George Rist

I’m George Rist, a dedicated Management Consultant with a strong foundation in supporting organisations through significant change. With experience across sectors such as private equity, government, energy, and retail, I bring a strategic approach to consulting, specialising in digital transformation, project management, and operational excellence.

With a degree in International Relations from the University of Birmingham and certifications in PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies, I’m passionate about creating sustainable solutions that drive measurable results. My work with clients spans everything from process automation to service standardisation, helping organisations optimise their resources and make data-driven decisions.

Beyond consulting, my commitment to social responsibility has taken me to volunteer in Malaysia and the Philippines, where I’ve worked on climate action initiatives and disaster preparedness, and study in Ghana, where I majored in African History. These experiences continue to shape my approach, blending a global perspective with a strong sense of purpose.

Outside of work, I enjoy history, literature, and philosophy, and I’m actively engaged in sailing, rugby and cricket. I’m also enthusiastic about Historic European Martial Arts and exploring new places, whether that’s through travel or local walking trails.

I look forward to connecting with organisations ready to embrace positive change, driving impactful solutions that prepare them for a sustainable future.
