George Rist is a seasoned Management Consultant with a background in guiding organisations through transformative change across private equity, energy, government, and retail sectors. Holding a degree in International Relations from the University of Birmingham, with a year spent abroad at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, he has a particular focus on energy security, sustainable development, and operational excellence.

George specialises in strategic consulting and digital transformation, offering clients structured, data-driven insights and project management expertise backed by PRINCE2 and Agile certifications. His experience includes service standardisation and process automation work for organisations such as Xoserve and Bonmarché, where his efforts have driven meaningful improvements in efficiency and decision-making.
George’s dedication to social responsibility is evident through his volunteer work in Malaysia, and the Philippines, where he focused on climate awareness and disaster preparedness, reinforcing his commitment to sustainable development.

It is thoroughly satisfying to have been able to personally work on the construction of walkways through the rainforest to assist park rangers in protecting this vulnerable, and deeply endearing, species.”
Outside of work, George is passionate about history, philosophy, and literature, with a particular fondness for detective fiction, science fiction, and fantasy. A keen enthusiast for sailing, rugby union and cricket, he also enjoys walking, travelling, and practising Historic European Martial Arts, balancing intellectual pursuits with active engagement in sports and heritage.
